Virtual University Sialkot Campuses celebrated Pakistan's 75th Independence Day with a new determination & new passion. As we know that Tree Plantation and Cleaning campaigns are being carried out between August 11 to August 14 on public places throughout the country. In this regard, the students of the Computer Connection Institute, Virtual University Sialkot Campuses actively participated in this campaign and executed a Tree plantation and cleanliness drive at Sialkot Fort on Friday, 12th August, 2022 to save the environment.
Before leaving for plantation activity, a short event was also organized at the Computer Connection Institute auditorium by the students and faculty to commemorate 75th Independence Day of Pakistan. Celebrations started with recitation of the Holy Quran. VU students Girls and Boys participated in patriotic songs, speeches and enthralled the audience. Addressing the participants, the Campus manager briefed about the proceedings of VU plantation and cleanliness drive.
Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Chief Officer Zubair Watto Sahib also joined our plantation and cleaning campaign at Sialkot Fort. He applauded the efforts of Virtual University Sialkot Campus in creating awareness for a clean and green Pakistan. During his address, he also highlighted the contribution and sacrifices of our forefathers for attaining an independent country. He stressed that it is the responsibility of our young generation to come forward and play their role in making Pakistan a great country.
